Sunset Concert Series
Join us the summer for The Sunset Concert Series!
One Friday night a month from June through September, the concerts will take place outdoors in the Village and will alternate between two locations each week. Every concert will also feature a nonprofit tie-in.

Every concert night, giveaway items will be awarded throughout the show by Westport Village retailers, and for every $25 customers spend on-site, they will be entered to win a grand prize shopping spree at Westport Village that will be awarded at the final concert on Friday, September 8. Winners must be present to win.
Parking and the concerts are both free to the public.
July 21 – Hot Brown Smackdown/Bike to Beat Cancer Benefiting Norton Cancer Institute Hot Brown Smackdown is a bluegrass fueled, funk-steered, rock influenced, semi-acoustic party. Energetic and soulful, they skillfully bridge the gap between jamgrass and genres beyond, deploying textured bluegrass polyphony and infectious rhythms to keep you moving all night. Bike to Beat Cancer benefiting Norton Cancer Institute will be on-site to raise awareness, sign up family bikers and more. Westport Whiskey & Wine’s drink tent will open at 6pm with Jeptha Creed cocktails, Ballotin Whiskey slushies, and a featured brewery.
August 4 – Kudmani/Family Scholar House Backpack Drive Join Westport Village for our back-to-school celebration featuring Kudmani. Kudmani is Louisville’s premiere show band that is a three-time winner of Knot and Wedding Wire’s band of the year award. Their performance is an experience of a lifetime and they are sure to make the audience laugh, sing and dance along to the greatest hits from yesterday and today. Family Scholar House will be holding their annual backpack drive to help send their 215 families back to school with everything they need. Attendees are encouraged to bring backpacks, pens, pencils and other school supplies. Everyone who donates will be entered into a drawing for a giveaway the night of the concert.
September 8 – Porch Possums/Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation Two-time winner of the Best Bluegrass Band South of Goose Creek, the Porch Possums play all kinds of music, but generally work around bluegrass, folk, blues and gospel. The Porch Possums are based out of Anchorage, Kentucky and band members include Anna on fiddle, Charlie on bass, Ward on guitar, Scott and Britton on mandolin, Ian on dobro/pedal steel and Matt on banjo/harmonica. Throughout the evening, Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation will be collecting donations to stock their Secret Santa Shop for kids and their parents. Everyone who donates from the Foundation’s wish list will be entered into a drawing for a giveaway the night of the concert.
